Practical information

The contract : Articles 01 to 14 constitute the contract that must be accepted and signed by the client. It is intended for the exclusive use of booking stays in bed and breakfasts. The best welcome will be reserved for you. The owner undertakes to personally ensure your welcome with all the desirable attentions to facilitate your stay and knowledge of the region.

Length of stay : The client signing this contract concluded for a fixed period may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain on the premises.

Conclusion of the contract : The reservation becomes effective once the client has sent the owner a deposit of 30% of the total price of the stay and a copy of the signed contract before the date indicated. The second copy of the contract is to be kept by the client. Prices are inclusive of all charges.

No right of withdrawal : For reservations made by mail, telephone or online, the tenant does not benefit from the right of withdrawal, in accordance with article L221-28, paragraph 12 of the consumer code relating in particular to accommodation services provided on a specific date or at a specific frequency.

Cancellation by the customer :

Any cancellation must be notified by mail or email to the owner.

In the event of cancellation occurring less than 20 days before the start date of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner.

In the event of cancellation less than 10 days before the start of the stay, 50% of the total amount will be charged (less the deposit already paid).

In the event of cancellation less than 72 hours before the start of the stay, or in the event of a no-show on the day of arrival, 75% of the total amount will be charged (less the deposit already paid).

Any stay started is due in full, even in the event of early departure.

In all cases, the owner is released from any commitment.

Force majeure: If the guest is unable to stay due to force majeure (an unforeseen, external event beyond their control), no cancellation fees will be charged. However, the deposit will not be refunded to compensate the owner for the loss suffered. The cancellation request must be accompanied by supporting documents (e.g., medical certificate, official statement). The owner reserves the right to assess its validity. Common illnesses are not considered force majeure.

Applicable law: This contract is governed by French law. Any dispute relating to its interpretation or execution will be submitted to the competent French courts.

Cancellation by the owner : If the owner cancels the stay before the start of the stay, the customer must be informed by email; any deposits paid will be fully refunded. If the cancellation occurs during the stay, the refund will be made pro rata to the number of nights spent. No other compensation will be due by the owner, who undertakes to cancel only in cases of force majeure or in the event of non-compliance with the premises or conditions.

Arrival : The client must arrive on the specified day from 4 p.m. In case of late or delayed arrival, the client must notify the owner.

Departure : After breakfast, the room must be vacated before 11 a.m.

Payment of the balance : for reasons of collection time, the balance must be paid in cash upon arrival at the owner's premises, along with the tourist tax.

Tourist tax : Tourist tax is a local tax paid to the public treasury. It must be paid on site and is applied per person per day.

Use of the premises : The client must respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them in accordance with their intended purpose. He undertakes to return the room and the equipment used in good condition, and to comply with the rules for using the various equipment, in particular by respecting the owner's instructions (reading the instruction sheet and verbal instructions).

Capacity : This contract is for a maximum of 2 people per room. In the event of an excess of 2 people upon arrival, the owner reserves the right to refuse additional people or to cancel the stay. This refusal does not constitute a breach of contract at the owner's initiative, and no refund may be required. The balance of the stay remains due in full.

Animals : Animals are not allowed. If the client fails to comply with this clause, the owner may refuse the animal and cancel the planned stay. This refusal cannot under any circumstances be considered as a modification or termination of the contract at the owner's initiative, so no refund can be considered and the balance is due in full.

Specifics: Please note that, due to its layout, the accommodation is not suitable for a stay with children or for people with reduced mobility (access does not comply with PMR standards). Our house is non-smoking; smoking is only permitted outside. For hygiene reasons, food consumption in the room is not permitted. An outdoor 220V socket is available for slow charging of electric vehicles (max power 3kWh) - additional flat rate of €1 per hour of connection, charging not included in the overnight rate. Air conditioning and heating are activated only at night, depending on weather conditions (comfort temperatures with air conditioning activated above 26°C, heating maintained around 19°C, according to current recommendations and in an eco-responsible approach). The swimming pool is accessible from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for safety and maintenance reasons. It is heated in June and September, depending on weather conditions, to achieve a comfortable temperature of around 26–28°C, in line with eco-responsible practices. The swimming pool is generally inaccessible outside of June and September (exceptions are possible depending on the weather, please contact us).
